1. Information We Collect

Account and profile

• Email address and authentication identifiers (including via Supabase Auth)
• Profile information you provide when signing in with email, Google, Facebook, or Instagram
• Workspace settings such as company description, brand voice, and target audience

Content and usage

• Social posts, drafts, schedules, campaigns, and approval actions
• Connected social account metadata and tokens needed to publish on your behalf (after you connect via OAuth)
• Inbox threads and replies synced from connected platforms, where enabled
• Prompts and AI-generated copy you create or edit in the product

Brand Brain and knowledge sources

• Connection configuration for knowledge sources (for example GitHub, databases, document stores, or custom endpoints)
• By default, Brand Brain operates in query-only mode: we retrieve context from your systems at generation time and do not copy your document corpus into Shoutant storage unless you explicitly use an optional hosted vector cache or upload documents for that purpose

Automatic data

• IP address, device, browser, and log data
• Product usage events and error diagnostics

2. How We Use Information

• Provide authentication, workspaces, scheduling, publishing, and inbox features
• Generate and revise social content using AI, grounded in your brand settings and permitted knowledge sources
• Run background agents you enable (for example publishing approved posts or syncing inbox)
• Honor workspace data region selections and related residency controls
• Improve reliability, security, and product experience
• Communicate with you about service, security, and product updates

3. AI Processing

Shoutant uses cloud AI services (including AWS Bedrock and related infrastructure) to generate and refine content. Inputs may include your prompts, workspace brand fields, and retrieval results from connected knowledge sources. We do not use your private workspace content to train public foundation models on your behalf unless we separately inform you and obtain consent where required.

4. Data Location & Residency

Workspaces may be associated with a data region (for example EU, US, CN, or IN). Region selection is intended to support data residency requirements and may affect where certain workspace metadata and application data are stored. Details depend on your workspace configuration and our deployment at the time you use the service.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with:

• Infrastructure, authentication, AI, and hosting providers that process data on our instructions
• Social networks you connect, when you direct us to publish or sync content
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

6. Retention

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion subject to legal and operational requirements.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

Shoutant is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date.
