Shoutant calls your knowledge systems at generation time—SharePoint, Notion, S3, SQL, GitHub, or custom HTTP endpoints. Default mode is query-only: no copy of your documents in Shoutant storage unless you explicitly use an optional hosted vector cache.

Brand Brain connects to your knowledge sources in query-only mode. At draft time, Shoutant retrieves relevant context and merges it with your workspace brand settings. Your documents are not copied into Shoutant by default.
Can Shoutant post without my approval?expand_more
No. Posts remain drafts until you approve them. Scheduled publishing only runs for content you have approved.
What about data residency and GDPR?expand_more
Workspaces choose a data region (EU, US, CN, or IN) at creation. The region is locked after setup to support residency requirements.
